Purpose

Shameem Sangha founded Rousseau in 2006. Rousseau serves clients with honesty and integrity, supporting them to achieve their critical objectives as leaders, individuals and organisations. Leadership, career management and diversity & inclusion are subjects of importance in our work. Aligning values, purpose and reputation, as well as building courage, authenticity and resilience are themes that often recur.

Sounding board discussions, coaching, peer reviews and in-depth assessments are the tools we draw on. By aiding greater understanding of personal brand and reputation, leadership styles can be refined to improve performance. Trust, total discretion, sensitivity and constructive directness form the core of Rousseau’s reputation.

Approach

Working one-to-one with clients, Shameem Sangha serves as a sounding board for critical thinking and decision-making. The purpose is to face challenges directly, discuss approaches to meet those challenges and critically assess how personal actions and reputation impact organisations and relationships that are critical to success.

Self-awareness can be enhanced through specific, confidential fact-finding. Rousseau can, if agreed, conduct Hogan Assessments and in-depth referencing to gain detailed data on how a client is perceived by others. Discussions to address points of feedback are informative and constructive. The complexities of individuals, cultures and leadership can be considered, in detail and in their wider context, in order to identify options for progression and development.

All conversations are confidential and handled with sensitivity, while being appropriately direct. Clients develop tools that lead to more courageous leadership and greater resilience.
